PRIVACY POLICY

The Battery Association for Supply Chain (hereinafter referred to as "the Association," "we," "our," or "us") recognizes that the proper handling of personally identifiable information (hereinafter referred to as "personal information") held by the Association is an important social responsibility. Based on this recognition, the Association has established the following basic policy regarding the protection of personal information.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Association complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information") and other related laws and regulations.
2.Establishment of Personal Information Protection System
The Association ensures that its directors and employees recognize the importance of personal information protection and establishes a management system for personal information protection. Furthermore, the Association clearly defines management rules for the acquisition, use, and provision of personal information, and properly manages personal information.
3.Acquisition of Personal Information
When acquiring personal information, the Association obtains it through lawful and fair means as required by applicable laws and regulations, such as by notifying or publicly announcing the purpose of use and other legally stipulated items, or by obtaining consent.
4.Handling of Personal Information
Our association complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act") and other related laws and regulations.
  • Use within the Scope of Purpose
    The Association will not use personal information acquired in accordance with the provisions of item 3 above beyond the scope of the purpose of use without the consent of the member.
  • Safety Management Measures for Personal Information
    The Association takes appropriate organizational, physical, and technical safety management measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, and the loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage of personal information, and for other purposes of personal information safety management. In addition, the Association strives to take appropriate human safety management measures, such as educating and enlightening directors and employees who handle personal information for the purpose of personal information protection. If any problems are identified in the safety management measures, the Association will identify the cause and take corrective actions.
  • Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
    The Association will not provide personal information acquired in accordance with the provisions of item 3 above to third parties without the consent of the member, except where permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other related laws and regulations.
  • Management of Entrusted Parties Handling Personal Information
    The Association may provide personal information acquired in accordance with the provisions of item 3 above to contractors to the extent necessary to achieve the publicly announced or notified purpose of use. In such cases, the Association will require the contractors to handle the personal information provided by the Association appropriately and will manage them appropriately.
  • Use and Provision of Statistical Data
    The Association may create statistical data by processing collected personal information in a way that prevents individuals from being identified. The Association may use and provide statistical data that cannot identify individuals without any restrictions.
  • Establishment of Accident Response System and Response in Case of Accident
    The Association establishes reporting and response systems to minimize damage that may arise in the event of an accident related to the handling of personal information, and in the unlikely event of an accident, the Association will work to identify the cause and prevent recurrence.
  • Continuous Improvement
    The Association will continuously strive to improve its efforts to protect personal information in accordance with changes to the Personal Information Protection Act and other related laws and regulations.
  • Inquiries and Contact Information
    The Association respects the rights of individuals concerning their personal information. If a request for disclosure or correction of personal information is received from an individual, the Association will respond appropriately and promptly in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
