MESSAGE

We extend our heartfelt appreciation for your continued support and understanding of the Battery Association for Supply Chain (BASC).

Since its establishment on April 1, 2021, BASC has served as an industry body dedicated to promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the battery supply chain. Amid significant global changes surrounding the battery industry, we have contributed to the advancement of the battery supply chain by swiftly and accurately conveying the voice of the industry through policy proposals and engagement in international regulatory discussions. These efforts have been made possible through the cooperation of many related organizations and companies, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership.

With your ongoing support, our membership has now grown to more than 200 companies. Today, BASC brings together a wide range of players—from upstream processes such as resource procurement and battery production to downstream processes including reuse and recycling—forming one of the world’s most comprehensive and unique industry alliances in building a sustainable and reliable battery supply chain.

As the global shift toward a decarbonized and digital society accelerates, batteries are increasingly recognized as essential infrastructure supporting this transformation. This is a pivotal moment for our industry—an unprecedented opportunity to lead the way in achieving carbon neutrality and digital advancement.

Meeting the growing medium- and long-term demand requires a robust and dependable supply chain. We are greatly encouraged to have such dedicated partners working together within the BASC framework.

As Chairman, I am committed to continuing this journey with all of you. Let us join forces to shape a cleaner, more prosperous future for the battery industry.

We sincerely appreciate your continued guidance and support.
